Mapping sys property "date modified" into a Inventor 2012 titleblock

Hi there,

I need to get the "date modified" value to display it in the title block of an Inventor IDW. But trying to map this value, Vault 2012 only shows "can not create mappings for this property". How can I map this value to Inventor?

TahnX and regards,

Carsten

Bump!

Is this possible?  What property can we map to display the release date in the title block for Inventor drawings?

I don't think you can make it work that way. You can't map the system properties (this one especially) into the drawing because it would create a loop. Releasing the drawing is a modification, so that changes the date. Syncing the previous modified date into the drawing is a modification, so it becomes out of date again,... and so on.

You would probably have to write a custom job processor job to fill out the property.
