Hello,
Just wondering if anyone can think of a work around for the following scenario (using Vault Pro 2013, SP1):
We currently are thinking of using state-based lifecycle security to restrict access and visiblity to highly sensitive documents. Based on a property, upon checking the file moves to an appropriate category. State-based lifecycle security based on a certain group that has Read and Modify restricts all access to the files in the category to anyone outside the group.
The problem is with the DWF. If a user turns on hidden files, all of the highly resticted files' DWFs are viewable for anyone to see. Even "Document Editor 1" has the permission to turn on hidden files. That is not acceptable. Did no one conduct a use case for this during development?
We are aware of folder level security, but these documents sit in the same folders as the normal files. We would like to avoid having to change our processes due to a limitation in the software.
Hi,
To avoid nomor group to view the dwfs, you can select the dwf files and add security for them.
I know it is inconvenient, but I haven't got a better idea.
