Hi,
I'm just learning the ECO, Engineering Change Order. I have 2 questions:
1. routing:
1.1. can I create a configuration? e.g.
Responsible Engineer: Person A
Change Requestor: Person B
Reviewer: Person C
Change Administrator: Person D
Approver: Person E
...
1.2 Can I assign a user group to a Change Order Role? e.g.
Responsible Engineer: User Group A
Change Requestor: User Group B
Reviewer: User Group C
Change Administrator: User Group D
Approver: User Group E
...
1.3 Can routing assigned automatically according to a UDP of ECO? e.g.
if my UDP name is Client,
Client = "A", then Responsible Engineer = Person AA, Change Requestor = Person AB, Reviewer = Person AC
Client = "B", then Responsible Engineer = Person BA, Change Requestor = Person BB, Reviewer = Person BC
...
2. is it possible to custom routing diagram? e.g. remove state of "Review", add state of "Request Further Information", ... etc
If it's not possible out of box, then how about programming?
Thank you so much for your time.
Cheers,
Wes

This one is Yes. Tools|Admin\Global Settings\Change Orders\Define Change Order Routing Lists. Create as many combos as you want, and then set which ones are active. You do have to pick one as a default, but in the ECO itself, the Admin can pick from the active list to change it.

I can't see a way to use groups, only users... but you can add as many for each role as you feel necessary. There is also the option to say that ALL Approvers must approve before moving out of Review state. (under settings on Edit Routing page)

Not out of the box, for sure. Not sure about any programming... I'd love it if we could do this.
Thank you so much for your time.
