Hi,
I'm testing Vault to see if our company can take some advantage. here is my machine:
Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit,
Vault 2014 Pro Server sp1 and client sp1 on the same machine
1. Login from client: Server: localhost
ref: vault_localhost.png
error message: vault_localhost_error.png
2. Login from client: Server: <my computer name>
ref: vault_my_computer_name.png
error message: same error message

4. http:// <my computer name>:2080/autodeskdm/services/filestore/v18/authservice.svc
return:
Wê-60Wê-60Wê-60Wê-60Wê-60
I think this is not correct, but don't know how to fix it.
5. http:// <my computer name>:2080/AutodeskDM/Services/Filestore/v18/AuthService.svc?singleWsdl

9. Control Panel, Programs and Features, Vault Server 2014, Repair or Reinstall, Reinstall, not working
10. I tried
Login Vault Problem: Vault is not compatible with the following applications, but does not works.
Thanks
Wes
Some of the troubleshooting steps you have taken were for the Autodesk License Manager. This article explains the steps you took, and the results.
UpAndReady Verifying License Server is Running
Your results appear to indicate that the license server is running.
The error message that states, "Vault Professional 201X is not compatible with the following applications on MyVaultServer:" could indicate a conflict with the Web Server.
The article which you provided, Cracking the Vault outlines a couple items:
-Another application which is using Port 80 blocks the communication
-(Update 20th June): there is another kind of this error where the IIS worker process consume an unusual amount of memory (check the windows event viewer on the Server) and as consequence stopps responding. An IISRESET usually solves the problem
You stated that IISRESET didn't work. What happened when you ran IISRESET? You may want to run CMD "As Administrator" and then run IISRESET.
Thank you, Jeff.
Ryan from our dealer, SolidCAD, coming in last Fri. He tried a couple thing
1. webclient works
2. install fiddle. when click OK of Vault client login dialog box, fiddle stop at:
http://2ua0390tyr:8080/AutodeskDM/Services/Filestore/v18/AuthService.svc?op=SignIn¤tCommand=Connectivity.Application.VaultBase.SignInCommand&vaultName=Vault&sessID=116179369&app=VP HTTP/1.1
3. http://<my computer name>/autodeskdm/services/securityservice.asmx
works
4. change port from 80 (default) to 8080, not working
I plan to contact our IT to turn anti virus off temporary next week to see if it help.
Thanks
Wes
Can you turn off IPv6 on the client machine only and then try to reproduce your issue?
-Hywell
Wes,
Instead of turning off Anti-virus, we highly suggest Uninstalling it.
Disabling AV software is not enough in many cases.
Hope that helps.
Hi There,
We are experiancing the same problem with our Vault Pro 2014 server. Restarting the ENTIRE server does the trick everytime, but we can't identify the source of the error.
Thanks,
Diana
That problem also I am presenting, I've tried everything possible, at least everyone in the Autodesk forums recommend. Even I enter as a support case and even so they manage to explain to you should.
The connection to the ADMS from AutoCAD is correct, but I can not do from the client
What should I do now?
You can't use the Vault Basic explorer client to talk to a Vault Pro server. You need the Vault Pro explorer client.
The add-ins can work with different server tiers.
