Is it possible to create of DWF from Inventor DWG and IDW files only?

Is it possible to create of DWF from Inventor DWG and IDW files only? Right now it creates the files for the 3d parts and assemblies that we do not want.

Do you mean update view for the Inventor DWG and IDW file?

Yes, you can create the DWF file by UpdateView Command.

Actions > Update View

And to make the visualization files visible,

Tools > Options > Show hidden files.

Thanks

Kenny

I assume you are talking about DWF creation during Check-in. If that is the case you can create the DWF only for drawings by "Unchecking" the option "Apply to all files" in the Settings dialog which you can find in the Check-in dialog. Please refer the attached image which shows that option.

Is there no way that you can set this up as standard within the Vault, so that you don't have to manually uncheck this option every time you check file(s) back into the vault.

I assume that if you are checking in assembly, part, or presentation files then both the tick boxes have to be unchecked?

It is possible to set the options if you use Job Server for Publishing the DWFs. Please refer the following article for more information.

Hope this helps you.
