Inventor 11 / Vault 5 installation advie needed

I'm preparing to install Inv. 11 / Vault 5
There are three options, for Step 2.
Option 1) Standalone user
Option 2) Multi-user team
Option 3) ADMS Server

I've been wanting to learn & implement Vault, for a while; and now seems as
good a time as any.
I have a second computer, which I can use, as a "test" server, that I would
like to use.
If I use Option 2, for my computer and Option 3 for the "test" server, what
will I need to do, when we set up the "real" server?
Or, should I just use Option 1 for testing?

Thanks!

Mike

The install options you have selected are logical and should work fine.

All that you will have to do when you set up the real server is log out of
the Inventor Vault AddIn and log back in with the new Server and Vault name
(File menu -> Autodesk Data Management Server -> Log In). You could also
optionally backup any databases from the test server and restore them on the
"real" server. This process is detailed in the
ADMS_Implementation_Guide_5.pdf
