Infinite loop of annoyed beyond reason...

I have a derived part that is a mirror of an assembly. When used in the higher level assembly, this part is throwing a continuous loop where-in I:

1) Update the top level assembly, causing the derived part to be modified

2) Save the top level assembly and all modified parts

3) Rebuild the top level assembly

4) Realize this creates the need for another update

5) Update teh top level assembly, causing the derive part to be modified

I can repeat this process ad-naseum.

In order to attempt a remedy I have:

A) unlocked every item in the entire assembly (214 items)

B) verified every sketch in every part is fully constrained

C) verified all parts and sheet metal folds are rebuilt using the current Inventor version (2012 Build 190)

D) locked every degree of freedom in every assembly

What else can I do?

Hi Sam,

Is there anyway you can share the dataset with me? I can take a look at the dataset to find out the cause of the issue.

You can send it to me at senthilDOTkumarATautodeskDOTcom

If the size of teh dataset it big then please drop me an email and I will send you a secured FTP link to upload.

Thanks!
