How to restrict usage of "Skip Revision Bump" option

We want technically restrict usage of "Skip Revision Bump" option while performing "Change State" command for Items (we don't want to have several Item revisions with same revision number).

This option/activity permission is available for three roles:

- "Administrator"

- "Item Editor (Level 2)" (IEL2)

- "ERP manager"

Most our designers were initially given the role IEL2.

I thought it was our mistake and tried to switch their role to IEL1 but it occured that IEL1 doesn't have permission for Action "Item Change Lifecycle".

My question is:

Is it possible to prevent using "Skip Revision Bump" option keeping ability to "Item Change Lifecycle" using only standard Vault settings? Or the only possibility is to customize it using Vault API?

Hello,

I don´t see any way to di it in the standard product.

You could add this in our VaultIdeaStation.

I can´t comment on the API site but you might ask this question in the Vault Customization forum as well.
