History not showing up

The history of the previous versions do not show up for any file I look at.  Everyone else's computer is fine.  But vault fails on mine.  Is there some setting I don't recall changing?

Hi There,

Can you log onto your machine as a different user and check this issue, if you are still seeing the problem you may want to look at doing a repair.

I have had this to many peoples machines. It is generally something to do with the grid properties. If you click on a file, with the history panel displyed, what column headers are displayed?

It happens to us frequently that all the cloumns are removed, therefore the history appears to have been removed. If this is true, right click a column header and choose "customize view". Then pick "Reset".

Another possibility is if you are only seeing 1 version, you might have the "Show all versions" check box, unchecked.

Good Luck!

Jeremy

I have similar problem with one of my coworkers computer. choosing "Reset" in the customise view did not help either. Show allversions already checked. Right hand side upper window shows all needed columns (Nothing missing). Where as the right hand lower window is missing version history.

If someone else logs on to your machine, do they see the columns?

Don't reset the view via the top menus in Vault, you need to do it in context of that tab which has lost the settings.  As shown in the image below.

Hi

you are not able to reset in that tab as its not available,

but if you stand in the empty window ( previe windows)

you are also able to rightclick and reset.

thank you all

Ah ok, I wasn't at a CAD station at the time to verify that but assumed the context menu would have been available on that header. I had a user with the exact same issue about 5 weeks ago and thought I'd solved it via that workflow. Hope the above post will sort it though.
