Folder visibility question

I have a group that was created by a previous Admin that cannot see some sub-folders within Vault.  All other users can view the folder/files, but the new group cannot.  The files in the hidden folders DO get downloaded correctly when there data is referenced from there.

 

Has anyone seen this behavior before?  If so, How is it corrected?

Is it possible that on the folder, a group is set to "Read Deny"?  Maybe the group you are having the issues with is a contained with the "Read Deny" group.
