Can anyone tell me what file or process Vault Client uses to publish internal .DWF files? I have found that when I do not have DWG TrueView installed, Vault Client cannot publish DWF files via the Update button. Any insight on the matter is much appreciated!
Ok thanks for the quick response. Do you know of a way around this? I would like to remove TrueView from the equation altogether if possible. TrueView has always created file association problems with my AutoCAD Electrical.
Currently, Vault will only use TrueView to publish DWF visualization file.
I am more concerned to get to the root cause of this issue though. I am creating a Support case directly with you. There will be some questions I need to ask you offline but I do intend to get back to this thread with an update.
Hi Holden, It appears that installing the 64 bit version of TrueView 2012 fixed your issue. Please let us know if the issue reappears.
doesn't the vault client also use Inventor in the background when creating DWF files from Inventor Files? or is Trueview only used to create DWF's of DWG files?
