existing sql server

Can I add Vault to an existing SQL Server 2000 that already has 2 other databases running? If so, how?

You can but it is not recommended...ADMS runs best on a dedicated server to
avoid any conflicts or performance issues.

Simply install ADMS on the server...the installer will create an
AutodeskVault database instance.

Correction...my suggestion would actually install an MSDE instance of SQL in
addition to your full SQL install.

You will need to create an AUTODESKVAULT database instance prior to
installing ADMS using Enterprise Manager. Be sure to set the SA password to
AutodeskVault (mixed mode authentication). The installer will then detect
the presence of this instance and use it.

Sorry for the confusion.
