Error when opening from Vault

When I try to open a part from Vault, I get this error message (see attached):
A problem occurred while retrieving the properties of the file 'xxxx'. Would you like to continue?

I can click "Yes" and the part will be opened.

All of my users are getting the same error.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Kirk,

Try performing a Get Latest Version from Vault Explorer on your iam then
open it in Inventor.
Get today's vlog and attach it to the post.

Kirk,

Another this to try is to reset the permissions for the AutodeskVault user
account on the filestore to Full Control and make sure that the Domain Users
group has read permissions on the filestore directory.

"Get Latest" from VE works without any errors. Attached is todays vlog.

Have you tried resetting the permissions that I suggested.

Sorry, Didn't see that message. I reset both and still have the same error message.

Irvin,
Here is what I see in the properties dialoge for the filestore. The autodesk Vault user account is set to full control. The one in question is the "Domain User" account. There are only two user accounts here.

I don't see an account named this (see attached). Is this my problem?

Thanks,
Kirk

I also see the same message when I click on the Vault brower and chose "Show History". I can pick "Yes" here also and continue. It seems that, for whatever reason, there is some problem getting the preview window of the file. I don't get a preview in the History window or in the File Open dialoge.

Kirk,

This looks like the Local Users Group. Add the "Domain Users" group to the
filestore and give it Read permissions.
Let me know what happens.

Is your DocThumbnail property turned off? I noticed that there is no preview displayed in your first screen capture.

The IT guy added the "Domain Users" group. It does have "read" permission, but I am still getting the error. I did notice that the domain users group is from a different server than the AutodeskVault group..... does this matter?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks
