DWF filename

When I check in the file from AutoCAD with the dwf option
checked, if the file name is
123.45.678.dwg
the dwf file name is 123.45.678.dwg.dwf
Is it possible the dwf file to match exactly the dwg file name, because I already have 1500 dwf files created with the previous AutoCAD versions, and this way I will have two files
for any of those already there-
123.45.678.dwf
and
123.45.678.dwg.dwf
I need to manually check on publish folder every time , and delete the old files..

Regards,

Nina

Unfortunately, the way those files are named during check-in cannot be
configured.

Would you consider renaming your existing DWF files with the Rename
Wizard in Vault Explorer/Productstream?

Just a suggestion, but if you do a Search[Ctrl+F] for your old *.dwf
files, Select All[Ctrl+A] in the search results, right-click and
Rename... When you get to the Enter Names step, click on the Naming
Scheme button and add ".dwg" to the Suffix: part (uncheck Prefix:).

Afterwards, you should have a collection of {file}.dwg.dwf files. Then
then next time you check in {file}.dwg, you will get a new version of
that DWF to replace the old one.
