Delete local copy

My scenario is that I have all the drawings in a group open to print and process after it has been approved. I would like to check them all in and delete the local copies when I'm done in one operation instead of having to open them individually. Because you have children open though it doesn't delete local copies when you check it in. My logic tells me that if I check in, check delete local copy on the top level assembly it should apply both tasks to all children. Is Vault 5 going to have such functionality or is there a way to do it already in Vault 4?
