DBX CAS 4

I am installing Vault 5.
With Task scheduler I am doing a "check in" of a folder containing sub folders with inventor R9 files and DWG files.

There is an error message "DBX CAS 4" showing up when a DWG files is check in??!?! I have to click Ok to go ahead but the "check in" process in not stopped.

What is a DBX CAS 4 anyway?

I'm not sure what that error is however with Inventor 11 the DWG wasn't a
supported "Inventor" file format and therefore I don't think you should be
checking them in with Task Scheduler. (I can't remember 100% however...
Sorry if I'm incorrect)

Are these for AutoCAD? if so then I would suggest you use the "check in
folder" command in AutoCAD

It's autocad 2002 format.

I've gotten a "DBX CAS 6" message on several occasions.

My local reseller technical staff says it is a result of one of the shared autodesk files being either corrupt or missing.
Generally, I just restart my workstation, and it clears it up...

In your case, perhaps something has happened to the files required to process the dwg files that you are checking in.

I have the same problem here with Vault 2008. I have about 18,000+ DWG to be put into vault. This problem shows up when using Task Scheduler. The DWGs were created from DXF using AutoDWG program. As you can see, it's not efficient when you have to open all 18,000+ DWG manually and check them into Vault. Anyone have any suggestion?

Hi tphan2k,

Would you consider using 'Autoloader' to do batch upload?
