Copy Design - force copy

We have templete parts with .xls linked to them. These templetes ALWAYS needs to på copied and NEVER reused when doing copy design. Is there a way to force this?

I do not believe there is a way to automate this for this document type.  

There are a few tricks you can perhaps use to make sure all dependencies are copied as per following blog:

You can also change to a list view and order by doc type to ensure these are being copied.
