copy design error

I am using Inventor 10 with Vault 4.

I have never been able to do a copy design of an assembly where part of the assembly is copied (blue button) and part is re-used (yellow button). Every time I attempt this I get an error. The only time I don't get an error is if I copy the entire assembly/sub-assemblies/parts to a new directory.

I haven't been successful using the replace feature (red button) either.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know why this is happening?

Are all of your parts checked in, including library parts?

We might have something that will fix your problem. Can you log an SR with
us at Autodesk Subscription Support. If you aren't on subscription, then
you'll need to contact your Autodesk reseller and we can work with you
through the VAR.
