The property compliance is updated whenever a change is made that would cause a property value to change (checkin, change lifecycle, etc), or if the compliance rules for the property definition is changed.

Why could be fail?

We have done a sincronize propertis and keep the mistake, just with a check-out, check-in it runs.

What version and which vault product are you using?

Also, what do you mean by "compliance evaluation failed"?  Is it that it is showing non-compliance, or is the compliance check failing with an exception?  If it's the latter, then can you please post the server vlog that contains the exception?

Some Vault users here suffer "unknown error" instead system visualization of some IAMs. It was noticed that those IAMs reference 3Dmodels with "Property Compliance"="Compliace evaluation failed" (which is rare here).
I'm far from thought that those two facts are somehow conncted but i'd like to know how value of "Property Compliance" could be set to "Compliant"?
Is it possible without creation of new file version?
Thanks in advance.

During Property Compliance evaluation if an internal exception or a SQL error/SQL down error occurred, the entities being evaluated for compliance will be marked as "failed". This should be rare and happen infrequently.

Property Compliance will next be evaluated for these entities on the next Check In or when a Property Definition is modified that it used by these entities.

If you are seeing "failed" property compliances (as opposed to "Non-Compliant") frequently you should contact Product Support.
