close files and delete working copies

On one of our inventor stations, when checking in files

the "Close Files And Delete Working Copies" check box is greyed out.

how can we make this available for checking?

In the Check-in dialog, click on Settings button. In the Settings dialog ensure "Include Parents" checkbox is NOT checked.
