Choose Properties - Application Version

I was setting up the properties that would be shown on teh Vault panel (part numner, state...) when I saw a properties called Application Version.  I've tested it but it appears to do nothing, unless I'm missing something.  Can you tell me what it should do?

I am not sure either, but let me ask this question.  What are you looking for it to do in conjunction with what you are looking to accomplish?

I had been hoping that it would tell me what version of Inventor the file was last updated with.  I know I can do that in Design Assistance but to be honest it's a pain.  I would liek to be open up and assembly and scroll down teh list and see what parts and sub-assemblies I need to migrate
