I've noticed that in a replicated environment, I can run the SQL maintenance plan on the publisher, and it commits the transactions to reduce the DB sizes, but that is not pushed to the subscribers. They still have LDFs that are in the range of GBs. I tried to set up a SQL maintenance plan on a subscriber, but received an error indicating that I could not set one up because the SQL was managed. Is this the case that I can't set up a maintenance plan on a subscriber? If not, then can/should we do something to maintain that set of DBs?
