We've recenty discovered several Inventor files that are not checkd out but nobody (even Administrator) can edit.
Most obvious difference from other files that are not checked out - they have "31/12/3000" value in "Leased Until" property.
When user connected to the server that is "Current owner" to those files tries to execute Check Out or any other edit command he gets message "An error occured while attempting to check out a file".
A year ago we suffered alike issue on Items (http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Vault-General-Discussion/Leased-Until-31-12-3000/td-p/4364521) the workaround found by me (Tech Support refused to help) that time was to wait for nightly automatics to fix the issue.
The workaround doesn't help when it goes about files.
Any ideas?

Just FYI - we've got official reccomendation:
1. Remove the connected workgroup (all files will revert to the publisher as being owned).
2. Rebuild the connected workgroup.
The recommendation seems a bit risky (overkill).
As soon as history of issued files was not something valuable (in our case all 5 stuck files were СontentСenter).
We've solved the problem without touching sever configuration (Copy design + Replace + Delete + Rename).
