Hi TamatasFLORIN,

If you hit problem/warning during installation
precheck, you could hit on the hyperlink with recommended
solution/workaround.

For your quick reference, here is an extract of
help doc on 'Port 80 Availability Check':

Source: Start > Autodesk > Autodesk Data
Management > Tools > Autodesk Server Diagnostic Tools > Help >
'
Port 80 Availability Check'

face=Verdana size=2>Port 80 Availability
Check

If this check fails, another application is
using port 80. Autodesk Data Management Server needs port 80 to be free for
successful installation and operation.

Note The following instructions are for Microsoft Windows
XP.
1. From the Windows Start menu, select Run.

2. In the Run dialog box, enter:
    cmd

    Click OK.

3. In the command window, enter:
netstat -ano

4. A list of active connections is displayed. Locate the active connection
that is using local address 0.0.0.0:80 and note the process ID (PID) number. For
example:
Proto
 Local Address
 Foreign
Address
 State
 PID

TCP
 0.0.0.0:80
 0.0.0.0:0
 LISTENING
 1924

5. Start Windows Task Manager and select the Processes tab.

6. If the PID column is not displayed, from the View menu, select
Select Columns. In the Select Columns dialog, turn on the PID (Process
Identifier) check box and then click OK.

7. Locate the process matching the PID that is using 0.0.0.0:80.

8. Make sure that it is safe to shutdown the process and then shut it
down.

Hope it helps.

Ty for your help but I need more than this because I already did all of those steps and
I can't locate the active connection that is using local address 0.0.0.0:80 because simply I can't find it in the list it simply doesn't exists.
I would be grateful if you can help me whit this.

Hi TamatasFlorin,

Sorry to hear that.

Could you try commandline 'netstat -ano'
again, and identify any other IP address that with ':80'
suffix?

0.0.0.0:80, 127.0.0.1:80 are both local
address to the machine. If not, look for the entry with actual IP address
of the machine. You could determine the actual IP address by commandline
'ipconfig'.

Rgds, Chear Huat.

Hi TamatasFlorin,

Alternatively, you may wish to change port 80 to
other value, and see if the installation works.

you may refer to this document for its detail
steps (starting Page 4):

Btw, I'm assuming you're not running on AWS
(Autodesk Web Server). If your installation problem still could not be solved,
you might consider calling our Product Support.
