Chad,
It will publish all sheets that are initialized. Therefore, in almost all
cases your model space tab/sheet will likely be initialized and we know of
no way to "uninitialize" the model tab. As I've suggested in other posts,
you can still get to your layouts/sheets by RMB on the DWF in the Vault and
select Navigator, then go to the specific sheet you want to view. It's a
workaround and our developers are aware of this problem/limitation.
Unfortunately, we don't have the means of disabling this at the moment, but
hopefully this will be something we can address going forward.

Is there any way to prevent a dwf from publishing the model tab in Autocad?
I would like all of our Autocad files checked into Vault to publish only the
layout tabs and not the model tab.
