Hi,
It still crash, here is the summary and new update:
I have 7 machines. 3 of them works but the other 4 not.
all Windows 7 Pro or Ent, 64 bit,
Vault Server, Vault client, Office Addin and Outlook Addin is version 2014
AutoCAD Addin is 2012. 7 machine, mine is Map 3D, others is AutoCAD Architecture.
In AutoCAD check out drawing, and then check in, if "Visualization Attachment Options" is "Create during check-in", then crash; if "Do not create", then it works.
Our IT and me have tried:
1. repair install Vault AutoCAD Addin
2. re-install Vault AutoCAD Addin
3. un-install and re-install AutoCAD, Vault Addin
4. re-image Windows, re-install AutoCAD, Vault Addin
5. install latest service pack.
also, I found this, http://www.inventortales.com/2012/06/visit-to-great-white-north-welcome-to.html, which suggest video could be the problem. Is it? I cannot exchange video for all of them. should I check the video card driver?
It's been more than 2 weeks. Any help really appreciate.
Thanks
Wes
Hi wesbird
The error you indicate in your message is due to DWGTrueView not being installed or is perhaps corrupted. To resolve this problem, please install DWGTruieView. If it is installed, please uninstall it and reinstall on the affected computers.
Please use the version supported with the version of Vault in use.
Hi Ron:
when I look at the machine, I found there are 3 versions of DWGTrueView: 2012, 2013 and 2014. I re-install 2012 one, it does not works.
I think DWGTrueView come with Vault. When I install Vault, it will install TrueView. There are no option I can exclude it.
What should I do next?
Should I complete uninstall 2012, then install it back? should I remove other versions?
Thank you so much
Wes
