Create multiple change order from same file

Hi,

I found New Change Order grey out at the file already under a existing CO. Is it possible I create multiple change order from same file, (or link of that file), in this case, an email from outlook?

The reason I asked, there is a case, our client sent us email, from that email, we may create multiple CO.

  Thank you so much.

Thanks

Wes

It is not possible to have a single file controled by more than one Change Order.

However, you can attach a file to multiple change orders.

When you go to the change order you will see the records tab and the files tab.

Records are files and items that are controled by the change order.

File are files that are attached to the change order.

Hope this helps.

I was able to create two ECO's with the same file as an attachment on the Files tab.  I believe if you add them as Records, you will only be able to do this to one ECO.
