Hi Is there anyone that has or can post any Best Practzise on how to upgrade a Vault enviroment with Autodesk Vault File Server(AVFS)? Backup, upgrade order, etc br Svein
I would recommend upgrading the ADMS first and migrating - and then subsequently upgrading the AVFS sites. This order is not critical however - the main rationale is that correct operation of AVFS is dependent upon a corresponding version of ADMS. I don't think you need to do anything special about backup, assuming that your existing backup strategy accounts for the AVFS files (e.g. replicating them to ADMS as part of normal backup operations).
