Soap Exception 241 on GetItemsAndBOMsFromItemIds

Hi all.

I'm porting a working Vault Professional addIn from 2014 to 2015 R2. The 2014's version was developed using VisualStudio 2010, now I'm using Visual Studio 2013 Comunity (some info here).

In the AddIn I make use of the ....WebServiceManager.PackageService.GetItemsAndBOMsFromItemIds to get information on Items BOM.

While in the 2014 version it works fine, when I call the method in 2015 R2 I get a Soap Exception 241.

I've searched in the documentation and it is described as UnsupportedOperation. In this post: http://crackingthevault.typepad.com/crackingthevault/2010/07/unsupportedoperation-241-.html I've found the cause maybe a mixed installation (Vault Basic, Professional, Workgroup) but I'm quite sure is not my case.

I've been stucked in this error all day long, now it's time to stop. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanls

Nicola

See http://justonesandzeros.typepad.com/blog/2014/09/vault-2015-r2.html.

Specifically "Package Service disabled for R2.  Almost every function will return an error."

Really thanks,

my fault, I should have read the documentation and the disclaimer...
