Sorry its my first time posting to this forum, hope iam in the right place?
Iam trying to create a report in Autodesk vault pro 2014 which will show all the files of the selected folder that i am reporting on, but this report must also show all the attached files and the attached files must be shown under the correct file that it is attached to.
Basically it must display the same in the report as if you would select the uses tab in vault, So can one have a report showning files and attachments as shown below.

The built-in reporting engine only prints out data in grid form. It doesn't handle tree strucutre, even if you are just going one level deep.

After alot of playing around I managed to get the report to show the attached files as required.

I have finished at that client already i think i have a copy of the report, it might not work with your vault due to the properties, but you can open it
to see how the report was created i will have a look for it and upload it.

Playing around also now. Not sure if there is already a sample rdlc file attached.
In the solution image i see grouping by File ID? I do not find that as field in the data set nor can i add it to the rdlc file.
Has anyone figured it out by now, and would give me some hints?
