How to correctly acquire files

We have a utility that acquires a large number of files (100000+) from Vault. But we only want the latest released version and only if they have been replicated.

My problem is that sometimes AcquireFiles returns a value of Skipped and I can not reproduce the problem in my test environment.

If we just do get on the file locally with the Vault client, it works without any issues. It also works if no prior version has been acquired.

One of Doug Redmonds blog posts talks about how to acquire files correctly (http://justonesandzeros.typepad.com/blog/2013/05/how-to-acquire-files.html). But I have seen references to other setting properties that should be set. Maybe they have something to do with files being skipped.

Also the VaultMirror utility in the SDK sets no properties what so ever.

Does anyone know of a good (complete) example of how to acquire any file or a coherent description?

Hi,

Perhaps the suggestions in this DevBlog post will help:

Thanks,
