Saving Password in Oracle FDO connection

I just upgraded to AUD 2014 and am using it to connect to an Enterprise Industry Model hosted on our Oracle server.

I can make the connection to the Map information, and have created several display layers and saved them in to the Template. The only problem is that every time I close AUD and re-open, none of my layers properly load, because the data connection isn't made. I have to open up the FDO data connection manager, click on my Enterprise Industry Model, type the password in (it saves service name, map3d user name and industry model name, but not password), click connect, and then everything works.

It isn't the biggest deal, but before I roll out to production I would like to be able to save the password in the FDO connection, so the user doesn't have to type it in every single time they restart AUD.

Any hints? Am I missing something simple here?

There is a "Remember password" checkbox where you enter Oracle login. Did you select that?

There is no "remember password" option in the Enterprise Industrial Model FDO connection type.

I had the same problem.

In order to save the password, you should not use the Enterprise Industry Model Connection but create a new Oracle Connection. After entering the service name you can click on the connect button. In the window that pops up, you can select to save the password.

Good luck.
