Does Topobase's topology use Oracle's topology?

I am new to the Topobase product line. Here are two questions:

1. does Topobase use Oracle's topology model (i.e. SDO_TOPO_GEOMETRY object
and its associated functions)? or does it build its own topology model and
analysis functions?
2. With the Autodesk FDO Provider for Oracle, Oracle data can be accessed
with a pre-built FDO data store (with F_ tables for FDO metadata) or a
native Oracle schema (foreign schema). Does Topobase (e.g. Topobase Client
for editing and analysis)) require a pre-built FDO data store with F_ tables
in Oracle? I know for Autocad Map 3D 2008, in order to make better use of
the FDO-based new features, the Oracle database needs to be a FDO-enabled
data store.

Thanks

Hi Meng,

1. Topobase is using its own topology model.
2. Topobase doesn't require F_ tables.
