I have been using Gmax for some time. I wanted the best so I emptied my checking for 3Ds Max 9.
I am still faced with the same issue. Export in a Quake III format to Milkshape 3D that changes some of my 3D model faces and cuts my hardpoint to 3 or 5 charectors. Then I can finaly export from Milkshape 3D to a .cmp format for the game's use.
I could move on to another project or buy Lightwave 3D next year(I love the 3Ds Max). Sooner or latter another project will give me the same issue.
