I heard someone say "Tripping the light fantastic" a few times. No idea what it means. Anyone know?

Theres a Afrikaans saying we say when having shots: "Laat hy val waar hy wil" If you have to translate it it says "Let it fall where it wants to".

And how about misusing a phrase. I always hear people say "I could care less" to which i reply, thanks for your concern.

In my world, the box is nonexistent.
