Do you have a favorite must-stop-at restaurant in your city and/or cities you travel to regularly?
My starter list is as follows in no particular order:
San Francisco: http://thestinkingrose.com/
Dallas: http://twistedrootburgerco.com/wordpress/
St. Louis: http://www.gioiasdeli.com/
Austin: http://www.saltlickbbq.com/
KCMO: Danny Edward's Famous Barbeque (old school, no website)
Houston: http://www.kennyandziggys.com/
Philadelphia: http://www.patskingofsteaks.com/ (I know, very touristy)
Baltimore: http://www.faidleyscrabcakes.com/
New Orleans: http://johnnyspoboys.com/
Tulsa:http://frenchhentulsa.net/menu/

Not exactly a restaurant, but any city that has an In-N-Out Burger I'm there!
Disclaimer, my boyhood years were in Baldwin Park, CA., where the 1st In-N-Out Burger was opened. My family moved from there in '77 so I've been without a double-double for many years.
The rule of thumb they have used for years is the store cannot be more than 500 miles away from their meat processing plant since they do not freeze the hambergers. Up until last year or so, that meant there were just a couple hundred In-N-Out locations within 500 miles of their Irvine, CA. processing plant...no further east than Salt Lake City IRC.
Now the closest one to us (Minnesota) is in Texas!!!
Can you say Road trip!!!
Travel?

I can only think of one off the top of my head; Border Grill at the Mandelay Bay. Found it at AU 2101 and had to go back last year.

Of course there is a real hidden jewel not far from home either. Shari's at the Willard Hilton. If you drove past this place you wouldn't even see it. It looks like an old farmhouse, literally in the middle of nowhere. but the food is fantastic!

Wow... I always knew someday I would perfect time travel. Just knowing I'll still be able to eat there in the future is a comfort.

Well, I know what I'm having next time I'm in Frisco: "Silence of the Lamb Shank - with chianti glaze & fava beans"
Peter's Drive Thru in Calgary. HUGE quantities at good prices. I would generally recommend against ordering a large anything - a "single" is a patty and a half and a "small" fries is almost a meal in itself.
