Hi there,

I had similar issue. Starting Stingray as admin helped me to launch the editor. Have you tried this?

Hello,

This looks like a knonw issue which occurs when using a non-english version of Windows. The workaround is to run as admin.

Hope that works.

Thank you!

HaroldRINCK9177,

Could you share with me your system details? We'd like to get this resolved for the patch release.

Could you provide:

1. Antivirus software used

2. Firewall settings

3. Windows version and language

4. Do you have UAC on or off?

Thank you!

Thanks for all the details!

Mcanbaspinar, is this whenever you start the applications or did you change your display configuration - like enable/disable multi monitor?

Mcanbaspinar, have you tried running as administrator?

Do you have any errors in your error log? Can you send the log?

Hello,

If you are experiencing this crash on startup, and running as admin works, please try running the following from commandline:

netsh http add urlacl url=http://*:55503/ sddl=D:(A;;GA;;;WD)

Then try running normally - not as admin and please post results.

Thank you.

I am having this same issue with the English version of Stingray, and the command above did not fix it.

In my case the user of the workstation is NOT an administrator, none of our users are. Do you have to be an administrator to run Stingray? Stingray runs fine when an administrator logs into the same workstation.

Hi Harold,

Can you open a command prompt as administrator and run the following command:

netsh http add urlacl url=http://+:55503/ sddl=D:(A;;GA;;;WD)

Let me know if this solution worked for you.

This second version of the command worked for me. Plus instead of star.

netsh http add urlacl url=http://+:55503/ sddl=D:(A;;GA;;;WD)
