Smoke crashes when open workspace

Hello Everyone !

I a problem in two machines with the same OS and Smoke

Elcapitan 10.11.3

Smoke 2016

When open smoke and select the project the smoke crashes in 'Load Workspace', all projects have the same error

But when create a new media storage the smoke start correctly.

Hi,

Those issues would be related to a corrupt partition. We can rebuild the stone+wire database. Autodesk Support would normally do this, but since you only have basic support, you can follow these steps (with great care)

1. Open Service Monitor and STOP stone+wire.

2. open a terminal, and type the following commands. 

cd /usr/discreet/sw/swdb

mv part0* /tmp

nb. part0 in the above refers to the partition to rebuild.

3. START stone+wire in the Service Monitor

4. Now you need to run a vic which will rebuild the database. This could take a while depending on the number of frames (anywhere between 5mins and 60mins)

/usr/discreet/io/bin/vic -a

this will run a vic on all partitions which is fine.

Once it completes, look in /usr/discreet/sw/swdb

make sure the  part0.db-lock is no longer there. Sometimes it takes a while after the initial vic completes.

You can keep running the vic command to see if the part0.db is still increasing.

(or look at the /usr/discreet/sw/log/sw_dbd.log to see if it still doing stuff)

Once it is finished, part0.db-lock will be removed and you should be able to get back in.

However, you may still have corrupt clips. You will need to either flush cache/recache, and flush renders/rerender in those cases. All new renders should now be fine.

I have seen this happen if the mac is hard powered down or after a big crash, as well as when vic has not been run for a while.

I moved all part0,1,2,3,4... because the media is configured on stonefs7, after i maked the vic -a and the db increased to 256mb.
