Where is the ViewCube in Fusion 360 on a Mac

Hey!

I was giving a training the other day, and a fair number of students were having trouble because the viewcube would disappear from their screens and they no longer were able to use it to reorient the model.

They were all Macs - Mac OS X Mavericks (version 10.9.4) - but:

  • I checked that the machines had the option to show the viewcube active (under "view")
  • If I right-clicked where the viewcube should have been - I was still able to acess some viewcube functionality like "set view as home"
  • Otherwise the models were still working
  • A restart of the machine would make the viewcube reappear - but not a simple restart of Fusion
  • I could not find a repeatable way to cause the viewcube to disappear

Has anyone else seen this? on Fusion 360? Any ideas?

Did you check to see if Reset to Default Layout command under the View menu restored the view cube?

Thanks,

Yup. Didn't change anything.
