Where are the surfacing (patch) tools?

Going through the tutorials (image from left) I don't see the Patch surfacing tools (image on right)?

I don't recall if they were ever there as I can't find a file where I had used them before, but I think they were....

It seems the Tutorials may be dated, which one are you currently doing?

Try creating a Base Feature first (enter into direct edit mode), then access the Patch work space. You'll find more commands are available.
