Although the Analysis Section through me off at first I found the closed solid could not convert with any strategy I tried. I rebuilt a similar shape and had the same problem. I have sent it to one of the developers familiar with this and will let you know as soon as I get a reply.
great I started to question my sanity becasue this shape is good and has to transfer

Hi,
This is a known ASM limitation related to support for large faces that touch corners or sides, sorry that you are hitting it! A possible workaround would be to use the "keep edges" function in the Conversion dialog and tag some of the T-spline edges as B-rep edges, e.g., where the blue line is below.
Hope this helps,
Martin
Just to further clarify if you are in the Form workspace and select the T-Spline body either in canvas or in the Browser you can select Convert in the context menu (Right Mouse Button). This will allow you to launch the Convert command where you can select "Keep Edges" and then select a loop of edges. Upon successful conversion you will automatically be taken back to the Model workspace.
By selecting a loop of edges you are seperating the single surface which is having problems because it is touching at the corner of the star point.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
