trim in timeline is faulty

the trim function in DM works right in timeline is getting confused - rendering it non usable in each situation I tried it.

I'm not able to reproduce this issue. I've tested on both Mac and Windows OS.

I note that I use the selection tool (linger on the left click to bring up the selection tool) to select the hard-to-get faces to trim. Could you re-test using the selection tool and let me know if the issue is still ongoing for you?

Thanks,

I can make it work with the face selection - sometimes.
But from time to time it still flips the face.

You can clearly see that the internal face is selected marked red to remove
but it is the one that remains.

I've logged this issue with development. It's definitely a bug. If you try this in history free modeling there is no problem.

I have two solutions. One is a workaround and one is an alternate workflow.

And the workaround:

Steps:

1. Patch and stitch one of the holes.

2. The trim will succeed now.
