Toggle Base Feature Visibility

Is there a limit of one Base Feature in a file?

I am editing Base Feature 2, I would like to turn off the visibility of Base Feature 1, but it does not show in the browser unless I Finish editing of Base Feature 2?

Click and hold your mouse button over the object and choose it under the parent tab. Then right click and choose 'hide'.

I didn't get it to work exactly like that, but got it to work (selected a face rather than the Base Feature 1).

Thanks.
