Spline from One Plane To Another

I want to create a path from one plane to another.  So far, all I can do is create a curve the "curves" only on 1 plane.  I want to construct it from a point on one plane to another.  How can I do that?

I want to then either create a PIPE or SWEEP along this curve.  Is this going to cause me problems?

thanks,

You can get the Projected intersection curves between the two.

Attach your file here if you can't figure it out.

If you can tie a knot (see attached file) should be able to get about any path.

There is a setting in the preferences that might help snap to a 3D point during sketch entity creation. The sketch snapping option is available in preferences.

  1. Go to the three bar menu in the upper left of the application and select Preferences.
  2. Expand General and select Design
  3. Check/Enable "Allow 3D sketching of lines and splines".

Check out the below link and video for more detail

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
