is it possible to create a spiral along a path?
I want to model a spiral cable.

Gabriele,
Depending of the profile of the spiral, something like this might help.

It also dawned on me that the Sculpt Pipe command would be a good way to create a spiral cable. Define a curve and then use the Pipe command to determine how you want the twist to be generated around the curve. You can get a lot of control with Pipe by adding and modify additional sections. This link below is a good primer on using the Pipe command.
Once the cable is created there are a lot of options for modifying the shape like this.
I'm familiar with the Rhino command you showed. I am not aware of a method to achieve it in Fusion. It seems like a natural extention of our Helix command. You may want to make a suggestion on the Idea Station. I didn't see any previous requests for this. I will check with development to see if there is an underlying capability we could expose.
There is a Script where you can import a CSV file to create a 3D spline. If you have a set of parametric equations that defines the path, you can utilize an excel spreadsheet and the script to create a 3D spline in Fusion 360.
Check out the below screencast for creating a spiral in a spiral, a slinky!
You'll find the necessary excel spreadsheet and CSV file for this attached to this thread.
Here's the website I used to get the equations:

Hope this helps!
Thanks,
thank you very much!
with mathematics I'm not so good but now I'm understandig how powerful Fusion360 is.
I don't know if your script works with spline paths.
In Rhino this operation is not full parametric.
I would like to define the path, then extrude the spiral on it. Finally create the tube section.
All these things should be parametric. I can adapth the spline path, change the spiral diameter, it can starts large and ends thin, or also I would distribute the spires at head and tail.

The script will not allow you to input a sketched spline to follow. You would need to know the parametric equation for X, Y, and Z coordinates to create a spreadsheet.
It sounds like the tool you are looking for is not available. I hope you will submit a request for this command in the Fusion 360 IdeaStation. This is the best way to get features implemented in Fusion 360.
Best Regards,
