Small problem using Parameters.

I was experimenting with shelling a part and used the shell parameter (d14) to create a fillet so the fillet would match the wall thickness.

Clipboard01.pngThe problem is if you edit the shell it creates a new parameter so the fillet doesn't update.

Clipboard02.pngThe workaround would be to create a user parameter "Wall Thickness" and edit that but it seem odd that editing the shell directly creates a new parameter.

yes, that is definitely a bug.  I will file it, and we will get a fix in place, hopefully for the next update.

 

Until then, yes, the workaround you describe is the best way to do this.
