I've tried dragging/dropping. I've tried ACTIVATING a component, etc. I've even tried selecting 3 Bodies and "create component" (which creates 3 components instead of the single component I want w/ 3 Bodies). Etc.
This seems like it should be such a simple task and yet I cannot figure it out...
How do I move/add a standalone BODY to an existing COMPONENT?
Or, how do I create a COMPONENT from 3 BODIES at once?

Dragging and dropping should work like a charm. Take a look at the below video and let me know if you have any questions.
If you're are still having trouble, perhaps you could create a Screencast of the issue?
Thanks,
I tried this over and over and over again yesterday. 10 different ways. Zero success.
Today, Fusion locked up and I restarted it and suddenly it is working just as your video outlines...
(That said, I'd certainly think a user should be able to select multiple Bodies and right-click to choose CreateComponent but I imagine this will be an option in a later release...)
Thank you -
This definitely does not work. I just updated to the latest version and the drag-drop does not work. There are no colors to the left of any of my components and when I "drop" nothing happens. I am running Windows 10.
Hi,
Please start a new thread and share* a sample file with a short description of which bodies you would like to have organized and how.
Please also note that there have been several changes in Fusion in the (almost) 10 years since this thread was started.
