LOGIN ISSUE

I don't know if i'm being stupid or if this is an error with my computer or the software or my account. When I sign in to fusion app on my mac, with my autodesk login details, it goes to the next page and says that it is setting up fusion 360 with my autodesk account and a loading bar appears. It will stay on this page forever. I've tried leaving it and nothing changes. I managed to get into the program once (not sure how) but since quitting haven't managed to get back in.

PLEASE HELP

Thanks, Jacob

Thank you for reporting this issue. How long ago did you install Fusion 360?

There is a known issue impacting the speed of account creation (see below link).

Thanks,

same here. installed 360 and it's stuck on "setting up fusion 360 for your autodesk account. check you email blah blah blah" . no email and i'm logged into autodesk fusion 360 account right now(how else i was able to write this?)

rough rough start with autodesk so far. 123 designs is absolutely fantastic product, but i was stuck on cnc utility for days(which is unfortunatly not working at all) and this wasn't mentioned anywhere, but on only on forum. now this..great series of applications ,but..

it this matter-my autodesk account created few months ago.

chat wasn't working either. stuck on :"intiating". if it's off-just say so-no one is avaliable. end of story.

Is this issue resolved or is it ongoing?

Thanks,

As far as I'm concerned the issue is not resolved. I downloaded Fusion 360 for OSX today and I'm stuck on the screen following the Autodesk login form (see screenshot attached). And I left my MBP (2010 model) run for 2 hours just to make sure it was not a very slooooooow process, but the screen hasn't changed. I can still quite Fusion 360 using the normal application dropdown menu command, but as many times as I try to start the app and login I always get stuck at this step 😞

I've asked development to verify that your account has been created successfully.

Please verify that this issue is ongoing when you have a chance.

Yes my problem has been solved, thanks.

FYI - should you have the same problem, what happened is that the account confirmation email got stuck server side (for some reason). Received the email approx. 24 hours later, then all worked fine.

Now I'm using Fusion 360 and must say it is a really big improvement for Mac users that may already be familiar with Inventor Fusion; the app is stable, and powerful, tutorials are (mostly) great and very useful. The price tag is too high (for me) not sure how long I can sustain it, but the performance of the tool is surprisingly good, even on a mid-2010 MBP.

Is this on a secured network or in a proxy enviroment?

Some quick network related items to check:

  • The computer's Time and Date settings are set correctly.
  • Ports 80 and 443 are open.
  • The following domains have anonymous access through the proxy server.

*.autodesk.com
*.autodesk360.com
*.google-analytics.com
*.akamaiedge.net

I hope that helps. Please let us know either way!

Thanks,
