Gear Design problems

I'm still struggling to design gears in Autodesk Fusion.   The JavaScript utility that came with Fusion 360 can make simple gears (as long as you don't try to make gears with more than 45 or so teeth, in which case it doesn't work), but it is very limited.  In particular when you need to make several gears, make sure they mesh properly etc.

In addition to spur gears, I would be interested in the ability to make worm gears and ring gears (so I can design planetary gears).

I've been trying to create gears using the tool at https://woodgears.ca/gear/, but for some reason I'm struggling to import the results into Fusion 360.  (If anyone has figured out a workflow for this that works, please let me know).

Anyone have any tips to share?  Is there any other software that might do what I need so that I can import the results into Fusion 360?

(I would love for Fusion 360 to include a more feature-rich gear generation package).

I read that you are interested in a workflow to bring the Woodgears parts into Fusion. Here is a possible trajectory.

Export HPGL from  https://woodgears.ca/gear_cutting/template.html 

Convert HPGL to DXF with the tool that can be found on this site http://www.noliturbare.com/convert/plt-to-dxf

Upload the DXF to Fusion.This will yield 2D sketches of the gear in a Fusion file.
These can easily be extruded. Here is an example.
