Fusion 360 MacBookPro Extremely slow interface refresh

Hi all

 

I have a 2010 MacBookPro and installed Fusion 360 today on it and noticed how incredible slow the software is.

The interface reacts with drastic time lags to any input from modeling switching views to open the menus.

 

Something must be slowing down the software here.

Could this be a graphics thing? Do the settings/preferences match the other machine in comparison?
